The 2024 Offering

The Synod Assembly offering is an annual opportunity for the people and congregations of the synod to participate in a collective act of generosity.
  • Continuous Growth Pathway is an outreach ministry of Gustavus Adolphus College that serves rostered ministers in the two synods of southern Minnesota by providing impactful learning programs and opportunities for meaningful colleague relationships. (Learn more.)

  • Region 3 Archives is a partnership of the synods of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Located at Luther Seminary, the archives constitute one of the largest collections of American Lutheran material in the United States. In addition to housing a treasure trove of historic materials, the archives are also staffed with gifted church leaders available to support congregations and synods preparing for special anniversaries and other historic occasions. (Learn more.)

  • Luther Seminary is an educational institution preparing lay leaders and rostered ministers for Christian communities. Luther Seminary is leading faithful innovation for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ in a rapidly changing world. (Learn more.)

Your giving through the event offering helps the synod to meet its budgeted 2024 financial commitments to these ministry partners.

The goal is to raise $20,000 during the assembly offering; thank you for preparing for the offering in advance as we seek to reach this goal together. You may give online anytime at Online Giving (select the fund 'Synod Assembly Offering'), and you may also bring your gift along to the assembly to offer during the worship service. An offering envelope will be included in your welcome packet when you arrive on Saturday.

  • Any person or congregation may give online anytime at Online Giving (select the fund 'Synod Assembly Offering')
  • A gift can be brought to the assembly to offer during the worship service. An offering envelope will be included in your welcome packet when you arrive on Saturday.
  • If you are interested in contributing in a way not listed above, please reach out to the synod's Director of Evangelical Mission, Rev. Emily Carson.
